One of the largest operators of Mountain Mike’s Pizza restaurants in Oregon has filed for Chapter 11 bankruptcy, even as the pizza chain continues expanding across the country.
Medford-based Rogue Fare LLC, which operates five Mountain Mike’s Pizza restaurants in Southern Oregon, filed for bankruptcy on July 1.
The filing applies to the franchise operator and does not include Mountain Mike’s Pizza as a company.
The California-based chain operates more than 300 restaurants across the western United States, including five in Oregon and one in Washington.
No Mountain Mike’s Pizza locations in Washington have been affected at this time.
Which Oregon restaurants are affected?
The bankruptcy filing involves five Southern Oregon locations:
- Medford — 2640 E. Barnett Road
- Medford — 2201 Owen Drive
- Grants Pass — 1531 N.E. F Street
- Roseburg — 722 W. Harvard Ave.
- Klamath Falls — 3430 Washburn Way
These restaurants remain open while the company reorganizes under Chapter 11 bankruptcy protection.
Bankruptcy filings indicate the company’s debts range from $1 million to $10 million.
The company’s largest creditor is First Bank of the Lake, to which it owes more than $2.9 million. The second-largest creditor is First Internet Bank of Indiana, which is owed more than $1.5 million, according to records.

Mountain Mike’s Pizza continues to grow
Despite the Oregon bankruptcy filing, Mountain Mike’s Pizza is still growing.
The company still operates more than 300 restaurants across the western United States.
It opened 24 new restaurants in 2025 and has announced plans to open about 25 more locations in 2026.
