How Companies Were Chosen

To be considered, companies had to be based in the U.S. with annual revenue exceeding $500 million.

The study reviewed 700 companies across 23 industries, and combined survey data from 25,000 Americans with online reputation research.

Nearly 100,000 evaluations were collected, with participants sharing their perspectives as customers, employees, and investors. Statista then analyzed media coverage and online discussions to assess each company’s public reputation.

Respondents evaluated each company based on its leadership, transparency, reputation, perceived fairness, and long-term stability.
